WebAlthough the cause of monarchism is now relatively rare, it is not utterly forgotten. There are still Irish monarchists, but they are monarchists who advocate for the restoration of one of our native dynasties, not a return to whoever happens to be sitting on the British throne or a pretender to it. I have no doubt that monarchies will return.
